Nudes (sort of)

Since my last post, things have slowed down a bit. We've been very busy all summer and into the fall with many interesting projects. Our newest commercial venture is glamour photography of women. It will be showcased in the "people" page of our website. The page is currently under construction but I am including a preview of the images here. These shoots are designed for women who want to create some artistic, erotic imagery for their husbands or boyfriends/girlfriends. These shoots are fun and include a professional stylist and a female assistant. We take our studio over to the clients' house and shoot for a few hours, using available and studio lighting. The idea of using the clients' home allows for a more relaxed shoot and spontaneous wardrobe changes. I'd like to thank our model PoeRava for allowing us to use her on this blog, Linda for letting us use her house in Haiku, Gina who helped me put this together and my wife Co, who not only is a great assistant and photographer in her own right, but who also lets me do shoots like this. Give us a call or send an e-mail for a free no obligation consultation. 808-242-1100 or info@mauicommercialphotographers.com

Maui Real Estate Photographers

Plenty of photographers are running around Maui with newly purchased digital cameras boasting a zillion mega pixels pretending to be professional photographers. The conventional wisdom is that anybody can shoot a condo. A lot of realtors and condo owners call me and want a price quote. Problem is, it's not like buying a drill at Wal-Mart versus Home Depot, in this instance you really do get what you pay for. Does your photographer have 20 years of experience? Does he bring an assistant and stage the rooms for maximum effect? Does he shoot in RAW format (does he even know what RAW format is)? Does he have a laptop for large previews or does he have to borrow your reading glasses to see the tiny screen on the back of his camera? Truth is, anybody CAN shoot a condo or upscale house. The question is: How well? Maui Commercial Photographers will bring all the experience and equipment noted above plus our unbridled enthusiasm and creativity to your project. You'll love the results.

Food Photography in Maui

With all the slick magazines in Maui touting the best restaurants, it's difficult to get noticed. Advertising is expensive and advertising dollars come from the bottom line. The trap many restaurant owners get caught in is when they go for the expensive printed ad campaign but then skimp on the photography budget. The hard truth is that a bad picture, even with good placement, is a waste of your advertising budget. When paying the big bucks for that ad, don't forget to hire a photographer who can create dynamic images that will breathe life into your advertising and bring attention to your cuisine.

Real Estate Photography

In Maui's challenging real estate market, dynamic, professional images are necessary to stand out from the crowd. A quick grainy snapshot won't grab the attention of today's homebuyer. To make a statement, you need to hire a professional team who will deliver the goods by staging the furniture and plants to create an appealing, elegant look that will attract your buyers and create a buzz. Maui Commercial Photographers will do that for you. A photographer and his assistant will make sure the home you are selling will be looking beautiful and will be lit perfectly, creating that warm, sensual feeling that will draw your clients in.
